There is good news for aspirants as UGC NET 2023 Notification has been released for the candidates. The Notification PDF is made available on the official website on December 29, 2022. The notification has all details such as exam registration dates, exam dates, eligibility criteria, application fee, selection process, and application process. Interested candidates should go through the notification in detail before starting the application procedure. The notification is regarding the post of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
UGC NET 2023
National Testing Agency (NTA) has the responsibility of conducting the exams. The exam will be conducted to select the eligible and qualified candidates for Assistant Professorship, and Junior Research Fellowship, for Indian Universities and Colleges. The individual gets the chance to give an exam twice a year that is in June & December. After qualifying in UGC NET 2023 December 2022 session exam candidates will be employed by the Indian Govt. Universities and Colleges. The UGC NET 2023 Exam will be starting from February 21, 2023, to March 10, 2023.

UGC NET 2023– Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
The interested individual should be a citizen of India.
Age Limit
The age of the candidates who want to apply for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) should not exceed 31 years. There is no upper age limit to apply for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.
Educational Qualifications
The applicant must have a Master’s degree or equivalent from UGC-recognized Universities/Institutions.
Individuals who are in the final year of their masters are also allowed to apply. Candidates must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in their masters.
UGC NET Application Fees
An individual who belongs to the General/Unreserved category has to pay RS 1100 as application fees and OBC-NCL candidates should pay RS 550 as application fees. Applicants from SC/ST/PwD/Transgender category will pay RS 275 Rs. Processing charges & Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be charged from the individual. The fees once paid will not be refunded in any case. The application fees can be paid through credit/ debit card or e-Challan.

UGC NET 2023 Exam Pattern
The examination will be conducted as Computer Based Test (CBT) only and it will have two papers. Both papers will be having objective-type and multiple-choice questions. There will be no negative marking on the exam and two marks will be allotted for every correct answer. Candidates will be given a total of 150 questions in the exam. Paper 1 will be having 50 questions and 100 questions will be there in paper two.

Procedure to Apply for UGC NET 2023
- Firstly, go to the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in
- The home page of the website will open on the screen.
- Click on the ‘Application form option on the home page.
- After that click on the ‘New Registration’ option on the screen.
- Do the registration by entering basic details like name, address, age, etc.
- After that login by entering asked details.
- You will see an application form on the screen.
- Fill out the application form by entering all required details.
- Upload scanned passport size photograph, signature, and documents.
- Complete the payment of the application fee.
- Finally, click on the submit option.
- You can take print of the application form for future use.
UGC NET 2023 Admit Card
The authorities of the National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the admit card on the official website which is ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Candidates can download the admit card a few days after the exam by entering their details. The details mentioned on admit card are the name of the candidate, father’s name, exam name, gender, category, paper code, roll no, day, time, and date of exam.
UGC NET 2023 Answer Key
The answer key will be made available on the official website after the completion of the exam. Answer key of both papers will be uploaded on the website. The answer key will be having all answers to the questions that came in the exam. With the help of the answer key, candidates get an idea that how much they will score in the exam. If any applicant is not satisfied with the answer key, then he/she can challenge the answer key. A board authority will issue a new answer key after reviewing the answers again.
UGC NET 2023 Results
After the completion of the exams, the result will be announced on the official website. The candidates who have appeared in the exam can check the result by entering their name, DOB and Roll No. The details mentioned on the result are the name of the candidate, roll no, paper name, father’s name, and marks obtained.
