Vande Bharat Express
The Vande Bharat Express Trains are designed and manufactured by Integral Coach Factory. These are India’s first indigenous semi-high-speed trains which will provide different levels of experience to travelers. According to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, four hundred new-generation trains will be manufactured in the next three years. India’s first indigenous semi-high-speed train, Vande Bharat Express was launched in 2019. The latest and modern trains have Wi-Fi services and a KAVACH system. KAVACH system will help to avoid accidents on rail tracks such as collisions of trains.

At present, there are eight trains available for different routes.

New Delhi-Varanasi
PM Modi launched the first Vande Bharat Express train on February 15, 2019. The first route connects the capital to Varanasi. The modern train covers a distance of 771 km in eight hours. The traveler should know that the train does not run on Monday and Thursday.
New Delhi – Shri Vaishno Devi Mata Katra
The second route of the train is from Delhi to Katra. Amit Shah, Minister of Home Affairs, launched this route on October 3, 2019. The train also has stoppages at Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana and Jammu Tawi. The train is available six days a week, except Tuesday.
Gandhinagar Capital – Mumbai Central
The train was inaugurated last year on September 30. The train covers the route in 6 hours and 20 minutes. People can travel in this on all days except Sunday.
Amb Andaura – New Delhi
This train was inaugurated on October 13, 2022, and it can cover a distance of 415 km in 5 hours and 25 minutes. The train covers the route from New Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh. The train runs six days a week but it is not operational on Friday.
Mysuru – Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MGR Chennai Central
Puratchi Thalaivar Dr MGR Chennai Central flagged off this high-speed train on November 11, 2022. The train has two stops at Katpadi and KRS Bengaluru. The train is available on all days except Wednesday.
Nagpur – Bilaspur
This train was launched by PM Modi on December 11, 2022. It covers the route in 5 hours and 30 minutes. The citizens can travel a maximum of days in the week except for Saturday.
Howrah – New Jalpaiguri
The train that was launched on December 30, 2022, covers the route in 7.5 hours. The train runs 6 days a week except for Wednesday.
Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam
The train Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Vande Bharat was inaugurated on January 15, 2023. It takes 8 hours and 30 minutes to cover the entire distance. The modern train has stoppages at Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, and Vijayawada stations in Andhra Pradesh and Khammam, Warangal, and Secunderabad stations in Telangana.
